Dr. Bassam El Dakr obtained his doctorate of dental surgery from Saint Joseph University (Beirut-Lebanon) in 1986 after which had completed the post graduate specialty studies in Periodontology and Oral Implantology from the University of Paris –France in 1989.

Former Specialist  and Head of Periodontology Department in Abu Dhabi Dental Center (MOH ) for more than 17 years and had contributed to the implementation of Dental Implantology department in the center.

His field of specialty is in Periodontics, Oral Implantology and Oral Surgery which includes:

• Treatment of difficult gingival problems  

• Esthetic surgeries including but not limited to gum recession

• Gingival and bone grafts surgery

• Implants (ITI / Straumann /SPI &  sinus lift procedure/ Mini Implants insertion

• Extraction of impacted wisdom teeth

• Minor oral surgical procedures like apicectomies & surgical canine exposure
